Idag har jag suttit på kontoret mest hela dagen :) vi planerar och bokar våran resa om ca två veckor! Har stirrat mig blind på alla resor.. jisses. MEN föll extra hårt för Curacao! Någon av er som varit där? kan ni berätta något om det? är det värt att åka dit?
I’ve been at the office all day :) we are planning our trip in about two weeks! I’ve staring myself blind at all the destinations.. damn. BUT I fell extra hard for Curacao!
Have anyone of you been there? can you tell me about it? is it worth going there?

A little while ago I lived in Curacao for 4 months and I absolutely loved it and I just wanted to stay forever. The locals are really nice and friendly. And what I loved most compared to other carribean islands is that it’s not at all touristy.. There are no huge hotels and stuff.. Just small bungalows. And there’s lots to do on the island as well. There are at least 20 beautiful beaches you have to go to and also a lot of nice beachbars and beach partys and the food is amazing. And another great thing is that it’s really not expensive at all..

Hej! Juste! alltså, Linkan är inte jäääätterolig att hänga i. Men Gamla Linköping är mysigt! Resturanger så gillar jag Storan, Sangria och en grekisk resturang som ligger på en tvärgata till Ågatan. Annars är det rätt ..dött.. i Linköping under vintern. På sommaren är de jättemysigt att gå runt stångån, åka till smultronstället, grilla vid bryggan vid scandic osv. Hoppas du får de trevligt iallafall! Kram

ÅÅÅh, jag bodde på Curacao när jag var liten och har varit tillbaka ett par gånger efter det. Ska du åka tycker jag du ska åka i Februari när karnevalen är med massa roliga jump-ups innan… Världens bästa lilla ö iaf i min värld =)
Åh är det sant? coolt! Tyvärr är ju Februari förbi och vi ska åka nu i April – men de lär vara fett endå. Tack! kram

Skitsnygg outfit som vanligt!
Jag var på Curacao för några år sedan och kan verkligen rekommendera det! Superliten ö men så mysig och har ett jättefint centrum. Alla husen är i olika färger och människorna är hur trevliga som helst! Tar ungefär bara två timmar att köra från den ena till andra ändan av ön och det lönar sig verkligen, sådan upplevelse. Finns en hel del att se också och det är så värt. Världens kanske minsta flygfält och ja, helt perfekt bara.

Var på Curacao för några år sedan och tyckte att det var otroligt vackert. Finns mycket att se, men inte så pass mycket att man känner att man aldrig kan slappna av på stranden utan gott samvete (om man är som jag och alltid försöker hinna med så mycket som möjligt under resor.) Kör på!

Last year in september i went to Curacao. It is an dutch Island and my family lives there.
It’s really worth going there beceause of the sun, the white beaches etc. I defenitely enjoyed my vacation there.
I must confes that Curacao is also an party Island. Everyday there are serveral happy houres on the beach. So if you want to party, it’s the right Island.
but no worries, it’s not like drunk people constantly cross the road. Curacao has a very beautiful nature. I went on a boat trip for two houres. It takes you on a beautiful white beach on little Curacao (Klein curacao). You can have a barbecue on the beach and swim with wild sea turtles!
I would also recommend to clim the Christoffel mountain. It’s a hell of a climb, and it takes one hour to get on top. But the view and nature is incredible!!
I would definitely go there again if i could.

Well you must go to Cas abou. It’s the most beautiful beach, and not as growded like the other beaches. I also recommend to rent a car, it is not expensive and you can see more of the island.
For a nice party on the beach i would go to cabana or Zanzibar. For a nice club, Saint Tropez club is nice :)

I was in Curacao about a month ago and I have to admit that I didn’t like it at all. It’s expensive island where people are kind of rude (and doesn’t speak english), nothing to see really (Klein Curacao maybe), too many iguanas and lizards, food is absolutely horrible (I’m vegetarian though), it’s so damn windy all the time and not so much sunshine either, nature is very unfertile, beaches are short. This island is nothing to comparing to Jamaica, Miami, LA for example (places you have also been if I remember right). There are so many beautiful places in the world so I wouldn’t waste my time with Curacao. This is just my opinion though. Nice blog btw! :)
Hej Angelica! En gammal lärare i italienska var nu tvungen att göra ett inlägg. :) Men jag börjar med att säga att det är så roligt att se att det går så bra för dig, och att du känns precis lika drivande som du var redan i tonåren (då vi träffades på Ljunkan).
Anledningen till inlägget är att jag var i Curaçao i somras och älskade vädret, havet och alla djur däri, men föll inte fullt ut för ön. Det finns bra saker, och mindre bra saker – om du frågar mig. I själva Willemstad är det väldigt fint, men när vi hyrde bil och åkte runt ön så var det rätt fattigt och då blir jag lite illa till mods. I stan blev vi förföljda av alla människor som jobbade i affärerna där, men vi kanske såg lite tjuvaktiga ut. ;) Vi åkte på olika båtturer och dem gillade jag skarpt. Jag hoppas att du/ni får en bättre erfarenhet av ön i helhet än vad vi fick. Jag är helt säker på att du inte kommer kunna klaga på det underbara vädret och det fantastiskt turkosblå vattnet – det är något jag alltid kommer att minnas med glädje i alla fall. Jag önskar er en fantastisk semester!
