    OUT AT THE COUNTRYSIDE

GRANDPA’S COUNTRYSIDE THROUGH MY PHONE ♥

Had such a wonderful time out at the countryside with my mom and André. Now i’m back in Linköping after a small trip to “sumltronstället” with André to eat the best ice-cream creations ever. If you ever visit Norrköping/Linköping/Söderköping – make sure to stop by and eat their ice-cream!! The best eveeeer! André went back to Stockholm today  cause he had to get back to work but I’m going to stay until tomorrow to catch up some more with my family :) Leaving early tomorrow morning. I have some meetings, an appointment at my hairdresser ( Just removed my extensions and I’m keeping them out for a while.. I’m maybe going for my super blonde ob again.. or something similar. Yey!)  and also time to shoot some looks. Going to spend time with my dad and sister today and tonight i might meet up with some friends here in Linköping, or just eat dinner with the fam. Speaking of other stuff: I’m thinking about goin to Tokyo for next year and I really want to go there when the cherry blossoms bloom.. is it a good time to go? is it warm there? and also: where should we go/live/hang out in Tokyo? Anyone of you who have been there?

    • Such a nice home! Countrysides are the best to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and quality time with the family!

I visited Tokyo two years ago (but during wintertime) and i have always wanted to go back during the cherry blossom season! The temperatures should be mild but i’m guessing it’ll also be swarming with tourists during that time. Shimokitazawa is apparently a really hip area (i didn’t manage to go but my friends did) and the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden let’s you rent a boat and paddle over a lake lined with cherry blossom trees. I personally preferred Kyoto – if you decide to drop by, check out the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and the Fushimi Inari Shrine.

Oh, and make sure to eat your way through of course! Now I can’t wait to go back.

      Jo x

    • If you can, you should also definitely check out Seoul, South Korea. Cherry Blossom season is definitely a beautiful time in both Japan and South Korea.

    • Hej Angelica, lovely pictures – Sweden countryside is so beautiful!
Well we might have some tips for you: We’ve been to Japan in March/April this year: right in time for Cherry Blossom! It’s the best season and so amazing!
You should def. visit Kyoto when in Japan because it blooms everywhere <3 (more than Tokyo)!
Tips for Tokyo: Meiji-Shrine & Yoyogi-Park, Asakusa and Ueno parc.
You can also head over to our blog to see some pictures and tips (it's in German but you can switch to English on the sidebar).
Japan is a wonderful country – would go back in a heartbeat!
